Why is it our back has to be against the wall before we become teachable? I say this because a few years ago George became extremely teachable when he lost his high paying day job to “corporate downsizing”.
Within 2 years of being laid off, he was so low on cash he became desperate and found himself selling off his personal treasures on CraigsList.
He sold his golf clubs, hiking gear, electronic gadgets even bedroom furniture. He sold just about anything that wasn’t nailed down.
His stuff sold fast and he made good money. Most of the time within an hour after posting an ad, he had cash money in hand. Selling on craigslist was fun and it was fast becoming addictive!
It soon became clear to him that if he had something of value to sell and could post an ad everyday on craigslist, he could make just as much money as he made on his old day job and work one fraction of the time and do it all from home.
It was then that he noticed that certain ads were running over and over again. If he knew anything is that if an ad was running over and over again, then there is someone making money from that ad over and over again.

I did manage to go through all the phase 1 videos and I found them to be very professional, easy to follow and methodical that I believe anyone could follow and be able to get a campaign up an going within days. It's like google adwords on steroids, because of the advent of facebook and bing. I did manage to get through most of phase 2 and only get to skim over phase 3. Time just didn't permit and I needed to sleep. But I did manage to get a couple of campaigns up as well in that 48 hours.
In a way the concept is not new 1 start as an affiliate 2 create a mailing list 3 produce your own product.
If you have experience online phases 2 and phase 3 may not offer much new. But on the other hand if you wanted to look at using pay per click and how he does it well it's worth getting it for phase 1 alone.
For the newbies, people wanting to start an online business it gets the thumbs up from me.It certainly is the quickest way to start making money online and then you can increase your learning at your own pace.

I recently found this article by Caroline Middlebrook using stumble upon to get free traffic and smart sue of links.Well worth reading
t is well known that StumbleUpon can drive a huge amount of traffic to your website and there are numerous posts in the blogosphere about writing for StumbleUpon, ensuring you get plenty of thumbs up votes, and ideas for post topics that are sure to get stumbled lots. What I haven’t seen mentioned is the value of using outbound links to increase your StumbleUpon traffic.

In my links roundup that I posted over the weekend, I highlighted a StumbleUpon tips post from Big Bucks Blogger. The first tip in that post is to stumble the pages that link to you. In this way you drive more traffic to the page containing your link and thus you hope that some of that traffic comes back to you via the link on that page.
Therefore it makes sense to me to make a point of linking out to other blogs in your post. If the blogger that you are linking to is a savvy StumbleUpon user who uses the above technique, then they may well see your post come through their analytics program as an inbound link and then stumble it for you, to get more traffic for themselves.

- A website: your image your presence and your marketing message, don’t get
pulled into the trap I see everywhere of trying to put too many choices on your
website. Maximize on the effectiveness by only giving one purpose to a page. For
example if you want to build a list - focus all your efforts and copy on that
singular focus, if you want your site to sell a product, then only put that
focus on your site. You’ll also need a good editing program, and an ftp software
to get this up and moving.

few that give your visitors the security to pull out a credit card with
assurance.
- An Autoresponder: This is a real necessity if you want a business and not just
a hobby. When you have a family to support this is a real no brainer. This is
your email follow up service. You get a name added to your list and this is
where they go. You will use this to stay in touch and build relationships with
your customers and soon-to-be customers.
- A helpdesk: in the beginning when your business and sales are small you can
handle all the little questions and emails yourself. One of the things that will
keep a small business is small is thinking “I can do that myself” if you want to
truly grow; you need to share the workload (petty tasks) and focus on what you
truly want to do creatively for your business.
- Membership Site software: once you’re addicted to the internet marketing
lifestyle, you will realize this oh-so-simple fact, it’s great to make a sale,
but it’s even better to make a sale once and get paid for it every month.
Continuity is king.
- Teleconferencing software: If you want an easy way to create and crank out
high ticket products, audios and a transcript is an easy to make, high-value
product.

these are the necessities that not only get you started but will make you above

VK3IP Jack Swainger
My dear, dear friend, Jack Vk3IP passed away in his sleep at the Anglis Hospital in FernTree Gully, Australia,last Friday. I had known Jack for many many years. He used to call me milly and my friend Graeme Moss, judy. Why? very simply my ham radio callsign back then was Vk3Mil and Moss'ies was Vk3Jud.. We both learned a lot from Jack about Ameteur radio and life from Jack. Always there to help. The stories he used to proudly tell us of making his first valve radio transmitter and the qso's he had around the world will live with me.He maintained contact with friends he had made in the UK and around the world for close on 50 years untill that "bloody static and s9 noise", not to be deterred he got used to operating a computer and packet radio, then email.He used to amaze me retiring from work early due to ill health, he passed away age 86. His many interests kept him stimulated and active, photography, gardening, painting of course ham radio untill the last couple of years. RIP Jack

Have you ever wonderred how someone could send out all those emails, after you have sbscribed your name requesting for information. An email every day for for 14 days or 21 days and the same time each day. Well you might think the sender is very proficient. He's not, but hey you say it even came personally adressed to me. Threats from bushfires engulfing Victoria's north and east eased today, but exhausted firefighters have little chance for rest as they prepare for a second onslaught later in the week. Fires which raged as a cool change swept across the state very early today abated as winds dropped off, but the fires are expected to burn for months. No private property has been lost. Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) spokesman Kevin Monk said the DSE and Country Fire Authority (CFA) now had two days to construct and strengthen control lines around houses and properties before conditions heated up again. Rising temperatures and strengthening winds have been forecast for Wednesday and Thursday. "We're just over one hump, that's the first one but it's only December 11 and our worst fire conditions are usually in January and February so, if this burns the same way as the 2003 alpine fires which went for two months, we've got a big challenge ahead of us," Mr Monk said. The fire has burned through 250,000 hectares and was now 12-20km south of the Thomson Catchment which supplies 60 per cent of Melbourne's water. Bulldozers are in the area extending control lines and backburning.

Rosalind Gardner On John Reese
Whilst I was doing some research today I came across this article by Rosalind Gardner about a video that John Reese recently published to his blog a few days ago. He disputes the widely held notion that marketers must pursue multiple streams of income (MSoI) in order to succeed.Although he’s taken a lot of flack for this position, I am in total agreement.The biggest problem that I encounter with most new marketers in this industry (besides the fact that they don’t build lists) is that they don’t focus on getting the first site right - dare I say ‘perfect’ - or at least to the point where the site is earning a significant chunk of change before they move on to the next project.Too often they have an internet marketing site and their kitty site and their fashion blog and their credit card site and in most cases, not one of the site is generating affiliate commissions.To drive the point of FOCUS home during client consultations, I simply refuse to discuss or review more than one website. Work on the first one, get back to me when all the changes are made and IF everything is done, THEN we’ll discuss the second site.

Have you ever had a seriously bad day? One that requires years of recovery? Graeme Jarry is a former security guard who experienced that kind of day when he tried to foil and armed robbery, more than 10 years ago. Subsequent to that incident, his life became unbelievably tumultuous and challenging. It's difficult to imagine that a person could go through so much, only to crawl back up again and become a new man in the process.
Talking about the armed robbery he tried to intercept, Graeme says no amount of training can prepare you for that situation. It left him physically and mentally affected, suffering from posttraumatic stress. He says, "I found for a long time I couldn't sleep. I was at such a heightened sense of alertness and fear. I became very drained and worn out. I couldn't say what I was feeling and what was going on. I used to sleep with my firearm under my pillow; I was in fear. I'd had a couple of phone calls that were threatening; this was after the police had caught the guys and I'd identified them."
At doctors' insistence, he took a range of medication and underwent shock treatment. Except he feels these measures provided little to no assistance. At one point his wife couldn't cope and left him, and he attempted suicide.
Incredibly, he's since restored a sense of wellbeing in his life and now helps others with drug dependencies. He says, "I do look back on the person I once was... I've got a zest for life today that I didn't have for the last 10 years. A lot of the last 10 years isn't there actually. Emotionally, I sort of didn't grow for that period of time. Sometimes you feel like a kid, quite raw, you can accept it rather than keep trying to change it. You can work on, making yourself stronger."
